The proposal part of the plan puts emphasis on measures for the reduction of polluting material emissions, with the aim of improving air quality and minimising the negative impact on the environment in this ecologically valuable area. Its core essence is both to increase the energy efficiency in the use of energy, particularly by taking savings measures in a residential sphere, which is the dominant end-consumer of energy in the area, and at the same time to further develop the utilization of renewable and alternative resources. In cooperation with the member municipalities of the region, several such specific project solutions were identified and their economical and technical feasibility will be verified and their possible environmental effects will be evaluated as part of related activities. In the event of a positive evaluation, steps will be taken for its implementation.
