Act No. 406/2000 Coll., on Energy Management, and its Implementation Decree No. 277/2007 Coll., on inspection of air conditioning systems, obliges owners and operators of buildings with air conditioning systems with nominal power input of drive of cooling source over 12 kW to safeguard a regular inspection of these systems every 4 years with effect from 1 January 2009, when the aforementioned Decree took effect. read more
After energy labels of washing machines, fridges and dishwashers have been changed, several modifications will also be made to light sources. Following the Delegated Regulation No. 874/2012, there will be energy labels not only for non-directional light sources, but newly also for directional light sources and luminaires. Another adjustment will be two new energy classes A+ and A++. read more
In 2012 the EPC method has seen many activities develop both on the part of specific implemented or prepared projects and strategic activities in the whole sector. One of the first EPC projects in the field of public lighting in the Czech Republic is in the implementation stage. This area has been rather less developed so far, but represents a major savings potential. This concerns a project in Moravska Trebova, where more than 1,000 light points and around 20 distribution boards were refurbished in the town and a dispatching system for public lighting monitoring and management was installed. read more
In a joint letter to the President of the European Council, EU Commissioners, Member State ministers and permanent representations, the Energy Coalition, EUFORES and EREC, supported by some 40 other organisations, including SEVEn, urged a dedicated follow-up to the Intelligent Energy Europe programme. The letter cites the programme’s role in meeting the 2020 climate, energy efficiency and renewables targets and its successful activities.

SEVEn o.p.s. je koordinátorem mezinárodního projektu Come On Labels, který byl organizován mezi prosincem 2010 a květnem 2013. Projekt se věnoval oblasti energetického štítkování spotřebičů, od monitoringu jejich využívání na prodejnách, přes informační aktivity o testování výrobků, až po vzdělávání spotřebitelů. Závěrečná zpráva projektu obsahuje stručný souhrn jeho hlavních aktivit a výsledků.
Společnosti SEVEn a DATART, a.s. společně zpracovali a distribuují publikaci o energetickém štítkování domácích spotřebičů. Publikace informuje spotřebitele o obsahu nových energetických štítků a poskytuje rady a tipy pro výběr energeticky úsporných modelů.
Change Best is an international project that supports the development of a market for energy saving services. The project shows examples of good practices in developing the energy service market, strategies, forms of support and measures resulting from the implementation of Directive 2006/32/ EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, on energy end-use efficiency and energy services. The main goal of the project is to assist the energy companies and energy service companies in entering the market for energy efficient services and assist in the development of this market by disseminating information on successful projects that have used the EPC method and other types of energy services.
