The results of the Czech-Slovak GreenDeal4Buildings project, with its European-wide significance, were presented at the end of March to representatives of the 27 EU Member States at the plenary meeting of The Concerted Action (CA EED) in Berlin. The international meeting focused on the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED3) and projects that help to implement it in practice.
The conclusions of the GreenDeal4Buildings project, consisting of a proposal of 53 specific measures for the implementation of the Smart Financing Initiative for Smart Buildings in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, were presented by the Czech National Project Coordinator Jiří Karásek (SEVEn). The project was based on numerous meetings of expert groups for finance, energy and building sector. This was followed by roundtable discussions in the presence of key stakeholders from government, financial institutions and professional organisations. Number of measures have already been implemented and others will be put into practice in the coming years.
