HeatCoop: Heat Sharing in Energy Communities
In the Czech Republic, Austria, and Slovenia, experts are developing approaches for creating shared heating systems in residential buildings and neighborhoods, extending the energy sharing principle to heat. The solution encompasses economic, organizational, legal, and financial models for heating cooperatives. Czech partners include SEVEn and the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague. The project includes a case study in Prague’s Holešovice district.
