Prague Climate Plan 2030
A SEVEn representative was entrusted with leading the key working group called Sustainable Energy, whose purpose was to propose specific measures for reducing direct and indirect CO2 emissions arising in connection with meeting the city's energy needs outside the transport sector. The professional knowledge and long-standing experience of involved SEVEn employees with the state and possibilities of further development of energy infrastructure and energy use in Prague's territory contributed to the creation of an important strategic document. The fact that it was successfully approved by the city's political bodies provides good hope for its gradual implementation. However, the capital city's climate goal is truly ambitious, and its successful achievement is conditional upon maintaining strong political support throughout this decade while simultaneously ensuring necessary financial resources and personnel and other capacities.
